“I just connected the Integra-2 to the bike, nearly blew my head off!! Must definitely warn punters to turn the volume down prior to connection! Listened to music on the Zumo, sounds great to me, tried a phone call, perfect! Now I need to get out on the bike and give it some wellie.
Very impressive! “

Here's my opinion on the new headset.
Set up the headset last night with the correct plugs and tips. Fits very well. One thing I must do is remove the helmet kit as the speakers did tend to push on the earpieces making it a little uncomfortable. But that didn't become evident till I was out for over an hour. Seems well put together but I personally will have to find an attachment for a jacket pocket etc as the lanyard bit doesn't really work for me as I am large of neck and so kept forgetting about it and sending it flying.
Been out for about 2 hours. Mixed roads (lanes, dual carriageway and even a couple of junctions of M42). Had my phone, iPod and bike to bike connected to the set. Arranged for a phone call about 30 mins after I'd left as I knew I'd be at @60mph at that time so a good tester for wind noise etc.
So I set off through town. This is when I hit a snag and I will save you the hassle. When you put your music etc on make sure you turn ALL volumes DOWN. I didn't and my god didn't I know it. Very VERY loud. From having my Evo on about full volume and the iPod on about the same, it is now about 2/3 on the Evo and 1/2 on the iPod. The headset works very well for music. Good clear sound. I found having the equaliser on the iPod fairly flat but more emphasis on the Bass end worked for me. But most of my iPod at the mo is Rock!!
Phone call came in from my mum and first question was 'Where have you stopped?' I explained I was doing 70mph down the M42 but she would have none of it. 'Very clear voice' was her description and the received voice was the same. Just remember to turn the phone volume down slightly (see above)
The Mic works better than the one on the fitted headset. I had to turn the Vox right up on mine to stop the annoying cut in/out that I sometimes experienced. Not at all with this one. Even at slightly over the limit it wasn't a problem.
Bike to Bike hasn't been tested yet but will be next weekend as I also have the new IR-803 radio to try out. Will let you know how that goes then.
All in all a very good product and I'm glad I got one sooner rather than later when the price goes up. Hope this helps you undecided ones.
Any other questions just ask.
