Q.  But It looks just like the Evo-1?

A. Yes, that’s right.  We found that many customers were very happy with the size and shape

of the Evo-1 and with so many people eager to upgrade, we thought it best to keep the same outer casing so it could be swapped-out with a minimum of fuss.  

The lightweight casings have proven extremely tough and reliable over the years - if it’s not broken - don’t fix it !!!!

 

Q.  OK, so what’s new?

A.  Here’s a very small list of just a few of the fantastic features and benefits of the Evo-2:

 

* Louder ...MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, LOUDER.......need we say more?

 

* More Bass response for deeper, richer, music quality through the system.

 

* Improved Internal Bluetooth plug-in facility for greater expandability for Phones, GPS,

   or whatever the future holds.

 

* PC Programmable.  The Evo 2 can be plugged into your USB port and by downloading a

   simple user interface from our website, you can control almost every aspect of it’s many

   features and functions.  (XP & Vista OS Only, not Win7)

 

   This goes way beyond the usual Volume / Vox adjustment available on most other

*  Keep Updated.  The Latest software can be loaded by us to keep your Evo-2 up to date

 

*  Manual Adjustment.  The Evo-2 still offers the basic Volume/ vox adjustment  for those

   who do not want to utilise their PC, and also when you are out and about.

 

* Improved Vox (voice activation)  response, using new circuitry and software.

 

*  Professional Sidetone.  Hear yourself speaking when the system is activated by voice or

   any other input.

 

* Radio Compatibility with almost every make of radio (Kenwood, Icom, IntaRide, Midland,

   Cobra etc).   UHF, VHF, Private or Public channel radios.

 

*  VOX / PTT Transmit.  You can set the Evo-2 to control the radio transmissions by VOX or

   PTT (Press To Talk)

 

*  Radio Voice Output adjustment.  This allows you to adjust the voice output volume from

   the Evo to your UHF radio, which lets you set the levels for the very best transmitted

   voice that your radio is capable of. - VERY useful, giving you a Commanding Voice

   transmission - whatever radio you use.

 

*  Microphone Gain Control.  This lets you individually adjust the sensitivity of the

   microphones, for the perfect setup between yourselves.

 

*  Vox Balance Control.  Lets you set the balance between the vox sensitivity for each user,

   so that when you are adjusting manually on the Evo box, both are adjusted in

   harmony - easier & quicker.

 

*  Music Mute duration.  You can adjust how long the music gets muted.  You can set

   different times for when you are talking, or when on the phone, UHF radio / listening to

   GPS instructions

 

*  Music Mute Level.  You can set the amount of muting for the music from 0 - 100% and

   anything in between!!

 

*  Separate Audio Amplifiers.  Ensure the best possible audio into your headsets

 

*  Background “Squelch”.  Most vehicles create noises (ticking, whining etc) through their

   electrical system, that can get picked up through the intercom.  The Evo-2 allows you to

   adjust an internal “squelch”  to dial-out any unwanted noises coming in through your

   leads.
