As the Evo-2 is such a new  product, we will be adding FAQ’s to this page as and when we get questions or feedback from customers.

FAQ’s

Q.  What if I don’t have a computer?

A.  As you are reading this on a Friend’s computer - No problem, the Evo-2 will be supplied with

what we consider to be an optimum programme already installed.  You still have the usual

Volume / Vox manual adjustments.  If you really need a programme update or change, We’re sure that

you will have a friend with a Computer, or we can do this for you for a small fee + postage.

Q.  Will it work on a MAC Computer?

A.  Not yet.  We are working on a version for MAC users and will announce it’s availability ASAP.  Right now

it’s strictly Windows XP or Vista

Q.  I’m a bit nervous of “playing” with the settings - will I muck it up?

A.  No.  The settings that are adjustable by the user are strictly limited.  The Instructions specifically ask you

to take a reading of the Evo settings before you “Play” with it, so you can always re-load the original

     configuration.

Q.  How does the “Bluetooth Phone Answer via PTT” work?

A.  Many modern phones do not allow “auto-answer” when using a Bluetooth headset connection.  We have

incorporated the facility to answer a call automatically via the Evo-2 internal Bluetooth module.  This is for

Phones that are directly linked to the Evo-2, not linked via GPS units etc.

Q.  Which computer systems are compatible with the Evo-2 “GUI” (Graphic User Interface)?

A.  PC’s & laptops running Windows XP, and Vista will be ideal.  The USB lead can run on a normal or

Hi-speed USB port.  The software is not ready yet for MAC users.
