Alright, I purchased the EVO. I'm using it for phone, GPS music. A few comments:
-music through the system is fantastic. Volume level is quite acceptable.
-Phone picks up right away and communication is clear as a bell. No-one has figured out that I was on the bike.
-GPS voice prompts are the same as above.
-Music fades in/out nicely and cleanly. There's no distortion, just fade in/out.
-they wired in a 3.5mm plug for my Etymotic ER6i earbuds. No need for the $50 Autocom lead.
-I love how everything plugs in, rather than having those big-ass semi-permanent leads that autocom uses.
Now, Intaride has been incredible to deal with. I've had quite a bit of email correspondence with them. they are quick to answer, professional, and genuinely appear to be concerned with a music in/out issue. At first we thought that it could be setup on my end. It looks like they may be sending me a new unit this week. I have no doubt this will be solved soon.

got my new unit. Music issues are resolved and now I have a flawless comm setup! Great product. Great customer service!
I couldn't be happier with the concern and level of customer service I've received as of yet. Lets hope it continues, because, this really appears to be a great unit.

I ordered my Intaride Evo about a week ago, and it arrived on Friday morning at around 1130, which as I was leaving to go to Ypres at around 1pm didnt give me much time to get it installed and working (as well as pack a bag, finish working from home etc)!
Anyway, I threw it into the bike (I've a Honda Varadero now and the battery is nicely accessible under the seat, and there's plenty of space for this sort of thing).
Did a quick "one-two, one-two test" for the vox settings, they worked fine. There are separate controls for vox and both the rider and pillion.
Wired it into the Garmin 2610, they supplied a 3.5 to 2.5mm mono lead which cost £5 or so, that worked fine with no interference or alternator (etc) noise as everything is filtered out in the unit itself apparently.
Put the mic and speakers into my Tour X helmet, very easy install there too.
All in all, I had it installed (albeit not a professional job), running and working perfectly within 30 mins.
Not criticising A’com, as its really a combination of things, but after four years I was still getting interference, hum, vox problems, faulty leads etc with my Pro Sport kit, and that costs hundreds in the end with all the additional leads and filters.
And Intaride are cheap too, a complete set, with everything you would probably need costs around £160.
A definite from me. I’m thinking of getting the radio (A80) installed as well - they do a install kit which comes with a remote antenna. I'll let you know how everything gets on.
Cheers,
Mike
By the way, I now have a Garmin 2610 GPS, Valentine1 radar detector, XM SkyFi2 Satellite radio and a 40gig iPod all hooked up via the IntaRide and everything works fantastic !!! I can’t say enough good things about this system.
Once again, thanks for your help.
